I Vote is a lightweight tool for creating anonymous group polls. A creator makes a poll, shares a short code or link, and participants vote without signing up.

There are no user accounts. Creators and participants are identified by random tokens generated in the browser and kept in your device's local storage. Clearing site data removes your ability to manage polls you created from that device.

Participants choose a display name and avatar shown to others in the same poll. No email address or phone number is required.

• Poll content you create (title, options, settings).
• Votes you cast, linked to your in-poll participant record.
• Display name and optional avatar image for the poll.
• Basic timestamps (created, joined, last action).

We do not ask for your real name, email, location, or contacts. The app does not run third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.

Tokens that identify the creator or a participant are never returned by the public data API — they stay in your browser. Database access rules restrict reads to non-sensitive columns and writes to the owner of the relevant token.

Avatar images are stored privately and served through short-lived signed URLs rather than public links. Excel exports for informative polls are available to the creator by default and only available to participants when the creator explicitly opts in.

The app runs on the Lovable platform with a managed backend (database, authentication, storage, and serverless functions) and is delivered over HTTPS. Lovable provides the underlying infrastructure controls; the I Vote team is responsible for the application logic, access policies, and content of this page. This is a shared responsibility — no claim of regulatory certification (e.g. SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) is made here.

Polls and their votes remain until the creator deletes them or they are removed as part of routine cleanup. If you want a poll or its data removed, delete it from the My Polls page on the device you created it from, or contact us using the address below.
